Remember the Bible story of God providing for his children by raining down food from heaven? MANNA!! One summer many years ago, I taught Vacation Bible School, and though I wasn’t very creative, my teaching assistant was. The day we told the story of God providing for the Israelite children in the desert, she brought thin, white wafers and passed them around to each child. Some smelled their wafer, some broke them in two, some dared to stick their little tongues on them, and some decided they’d make great mini-Frisbees.
