The renowned pianist performs an astounding concert. No doubt, his very best. The last note is struck, then a second of energy-filled silence. And finally, the crowd cannot contain their enthusiasm. They jump simultaneously to their feet. Thunderous applause fills the hall, and shouts of “Bravo!” fill the air. The master musician takes his bow.

Lifting his head, he scans the audience for one face — his revered teacher of thirty years. They lock eyes and exchange a knowing look. The maestro gives a slight nod of approval. It is all the performer needs. One look. One nod. One man’s message of “well done.” The deafening ovation of the masses is a background hum when compared to his teacher’s approval.
